DAVID CROLAND (b.1944)
American artist David Croland has an active career in art and fashion, with his illustrations gracing the pages of Vogue, Bazaar, Interview, and The New York Times, among other publications. His drawings have been commissioned by prestigious department stores like Barneys New York and Henri Bendel, as well as numerous beauty companies. As a photographer, his work has appeared in Glamour and British Vogue. Croland is known for depicting some of the fashion industry’s most famous muses and designs, and he moved within the influential social circles of Andy Warhol, often creating works inspired by the high-profile, star-studded figures he encountered.
